think that I will use surveys throughout my career as an educator. In an elementary setting, I would probably use surveys if there is ever a science experiment scheduled to be done at home. Learners could add their results into the survey in order to have all of the data neatly submitted to me. I also could create a survey to send out to parents at the beginning, middle, and end of the year to determine their level of satisfaction with my teaching. The parent survey would also end up being an easy way for parents to submit questions to me. I also believe that I will use Excel as a grade book, such that we are working on for Skill Check 4.
The main idea of a flipped classroom is that the main information is learned at home and learners practice and enhance their skills while in the classroom. Learners take advantage of readings or online content in order to learn the material. One aspect of a flipped classroom that I find to be extremely beneficial is that learners can go at their own pace. There can be difficulties with the flipped classroom. One major difficulty is that some learners may not have access to required technologies at their home. By having time in the classroom to review material, educators can work to make sure that learners without access to online content have an alternative.
The technology skill that I would like to learn next is Photoshop. I think that Photoshop could be a beneficial tool to use in a classroom, especially if trying to personalize lessons and to make material more unique. I saw a post created by an elementary school teacher recently where she used Photoshop to create a book about her class. I think that this is a super cool idea that I would love to do in my future classroom!
I have really enjoyed reading my professor’a blog posts these last two weeks! This past week, in her post about what she has learned from our blog posts 6-10, she mentioned how each of us would use technology in our future classroom. I found this extremely interesting because some of my peers mentioned resources that I am unfamiliar with, such as RescueTime. I also really enjoy how my professor mentioned that she uses the "Rehearse Timings" feature on PowerPoint in order to prepare for a large presentation. I never thought about that and will definitely use it to my advantage in the future!

I commented on Elizabeth Hattal's and Alina Korray's blog posts.
